"I desire above all things that my name should be concealed, and that none be called by the name of Lutheran; but of Christian. What is Luther? My doctrine is not mine, but Christ's. I was not crucified for any. How comes it to pass, that I, who am but a filthy, stinking bag of worms; that any of the sons of God should be denominated from my name? Away with these schismatical names! Let us be denominated from Christ, from whom alone we have our doctrine."

I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive. John 5:43

Luther spoke prophetically. How well he knew the corruption of men’s hearts, to make an idol out of a man. And to fulfill the very scriptures our Lord taught.

Look at the state of Lutheran Churches! Corrupt, and extremely apostate! Relics, images, ceremonies, and superstitions. But do not stop at the Lutheran Churches. Baptist, Methodist, Anglican, and the more…..all, are plagued by these same vices, more or less!

All of them, are void of the gospel TRUTH, and Spirit! Christ is NOT preached, loved and obeyed, in the simplicity of Apostolic examples. 1cor 2:2-5

If this were so, no other name would be needed! God would so honor the Son, as to place His names upon the foreheads of them, which love him and know the truth as it is in Christ!

Luther must be thanked for this candid rejection of such an abuse of His name. Yet I fear he left too much of himself and His practices uncorrected, so that the seeds of them we do behold today.

Let all names, including, Catholic, and Churches of Christ, Mormons, Pseudo Jehovah’s Witnesses, with their vile works religion, know that they too, are but,
